Last year, I lost all of my favorites, and when I came back to school in August I was very upset. It took me a long time to find great sites that I felt comfortable using and then they were gone. It takes me ages to navigate on line which is why I was so angry that everything I really liked was gone. Delicious however is going to take the fear out of ending the school year. I think that this site is important for all educators to access. It's so important that Katie did a demonstration of Delicious today at our staff meeting. The teachers were every excited and I was excited too, because I felt that I knew how to use it, because of the class. My problem with learning new "technology" is the fact that I process very slow and I need to do something multiple times before I feel comfortable with it. Also, I am feeling more comfortable with my iGoogle page. I have maps and weather on this page that I frequently have checked out in the past few weeks. I have to admit that my students were quite impressed with me, as I showed them how to change the page and add different application to it. That is one of the most fun things about this class for me, being able to share my new learning with my students.
