While investigating DimDim, I learned that this service offers an alternative option to the traditional classroom. This could be effective for a student who needs an alternative placement to obtain an education. A neutral site placement teacher could use this type of interactivity for a core curricular class. I wonder what places like WIVA and the WI IQ ACADEMY use as their interactive software? Similar I would guess. DimDim's features seem endless. The lazer and zoom functions are clutch, the locking feature reminds me of SMARTBoard technologies, and the powerpoint and whiteboard would be used constantly.
