I presented delicious today to our staff. With the reimaging last summer everyone lost their favorites and this is a life saver! I prefer delicious over diigo just because I don't feel the need to highlight or make comments on various sites.
Smilebox is really nice for kids to make collages of various classroom activities. Learning about these web 2.0 tools that are out there for use with digital pictures makes me wish I could hire a photographer full time in my classroom to capture all of the great moments. I may even consider using it for a wedding photos with my upcoming wedding.
As for Facebook, I am part of the Facebook generation. It was first 'out' my last year of college so I have been on it ever since. I think it is the greatest thing. I keep in contact with more people than I would have ever imagined and get to see some of their greatest lifes moments when they upload pictures. I agree that at a certain age Facebook may not be for you. Facebook would not be something that I would use with elementary students. For personal purposes though I love it!
