I really liked using Picnik. Fotoflexer is very similar but I've used Picnik in the past and have just become more accustomed to using it. I think it would be great to use this with students. They could take pictures from a fieldtrip and each be assigned one to edit and then we could compose a classroom book of the fieldtrip.

Picnik
