Voice thread seems very advanced. However after seeing how it was used with younger students, I am convinced it is possible. NOW I just have to figure out how I would use it in my class! I am thinking it might be possible to offer the use of voice thread as an option for a project. When students do bulletins or posters as options, I could add in voicethread as another alternative (of course I would have to work up a rubric and figure out how to introduce the concept in gereral too...not sure how yet).
Animoto is cool! I like the idea of using it when I introduce new topics. Maybe get them interested by creating one myself and showing it to start off a unit. OR they could create one to review...quiz each other if there are topics that incorporate picutures (i.e. learning the different tools we use in science, processes for mitosis, Newtons laws in practice, etc.). Still vague on how I would incorporate it and have everyone involved.....
I will definitely utilize this tool myself!
Smilebox! I can see how this could also be used to create projects. When students are asked to create collages on Newton's laws....smilebox instead of cut and paste????
