It's crazy how recently you hear about blogging and making money on the news and Today show and we're doing it!! I also heard though the increase in hackers with all this blogging and their advise: change up your passwords, more to remember.
So I too have been having trouble with my voki and the message "error on the page" so I can't do anything with it either. Also, tried dimdim. I created an account and wanted to conference with some friends about a play date but first it was running at a time I didn't say and didn't know what to do and my computer kept blocking me from doing anything. Needless to say it didn't work and later canceled the thing, help! I could find many uses for it though: conferencing with PTA members, school parents, college courses and projects, teachers on a committee, etc. Now I just need to know how to work it.
I twitted a few times too. I find it strange people want to follow people in doing everyday things.
Ideas for Cue prompter: giving class directions as they come in for the morning while your busy doing everything else, kids can use it for skits and speeches. Stopwatch ideas: transitions (ie bathroom break, getting out materials, talking in groups,games) times tests, speeches and/or demonstrations, silent reading, and minutes owed/time-outs. Screencast-o-matic ideas: kids can use for informative writing or demonstrations. Set up as a center or station in rotation for activities to either do or follow.
