I am starting to get used to using iGoogle when I turn on my computer. I wish that I would have known about it last year. I taught 7th grade science and I was always looking for a way to help my students learn organization and responsibility for their time management. This would have been a great way to model organization strategies and for the students to participate as well. I will definitely be keeping this in the back of my mind for the future.

I really like the to do list, post it note, and calendar options. I think that these features would be great tools to hep students with organization. I also think that by using iGoogle in the classroom students can learn not only organizational skills but also how to effectively use their resources to problem solve and find information.

Labpixies.com has great gadgets to add to your iGoogle page. This is where I found the to do list and post it notes.  They also have some great games and music gadgets as well.
