BRRRRRRRRRR!!!

WOW - what weather! Our farm well decided to freeze up even though it has a heater on it 24/7, so we've been hauling buckets of water twice a day from the house to the barn for our 9 horses and chickens - NOT FUN! And it's depressing to think that school will probably be going another two days longer in June. But that's Wisconsin!

I was happy that I was able to create a Voki and embed it in the blog and I even emailed to my two children, ages 26 & 29, who know Mom's not too saavy on the computer. I have also experienced "Skyping" when we used Skype to contact my niece, who is teaching in Paris, on Thanksgiving Day. Her parents love it because it's better than just hearing her voice when they can see her too. I joined twitter today and entered my first tweet but could not locate friends because I kept getting the message, "Twitter is stressing out a bit right now, so this feature is temporarily disabled." So hopefully, I can try sometime soon and get through. Dim Dim could be useful for me when planning contest and we can't all be together in the same room. We have had some of our planning time cancelled this year because of the weather and this may be a way in the future that we can get together without worrying about the snow or cold.

Bob just came in and said the tractor has started! Yeah! But the well is still frozen, so I better go now since I have to go fill the buckets in the tub again.

Stay warm!
Judy
